Job Title: SDR Engineer (Contract)
Contract Type: 6-month Contract (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Rate: £400 - £450 per day

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled SDR Engineer to join our clients team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, optimising, and deploying Software-Defined Radio (SDR) solutions. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and proficiency in SDR technologies such as Ettus USRP, ADLAM Pluto, and related software libraries. This contract is outside IR35, offering flexibility and competitive day rates.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) technologies.
• Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Ettus USRP, ADLAM Pluto, and related hardware platforms.
• Knowledge of IIO and UHD frameworks.
• Solid understanding of signal chain analysis, modulation techniques, and wireless communication protocols.
• Experience in developing and optimizing real-time communication systems.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines.
