Electronics Design Engineer
Luton 50K - 55K Permanent
Join an exciting design consultancy based in Bedfordshire as an Electronics Design Engineer where you will be responsible for designing electronic products in the Automotive, Defence and Renewables sectors. You will be working alongside a variety of inter-disciplinary staff and the ideal candidate should be comfortable in talking to a wide range of people from a number of diverse backgrounds. In addition, you should have experience in working throughout the entire product life-cycle from conception to completion.
Essentials:
- Mixed Analogue & Digital Design
- Microcontrollers
- Schematic Capture (Altium)
- Experience working in a commercial design environment
- FMEA (Problem-solving)
- Experience writing technical documrntation
- V&V
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Desirables:
- V-model Experience
- Experience working with Switch Mode Power Supply design
- 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit and 64-bit Microprocessors
- An understanding of EMC design requirements
- Embedded programming experience
- Version Control
- Communication Protocols - CAN, USB, RS485 or Ethernet
