Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join our clients team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic design, with expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer. This role requires the engineer to work on-site in County Durham for 3 days a week working on niche and novel projects in the RF market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schematic Capture: Develop detailed and accurate electronic schematics using Altium Designer, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• PCB Layout: Perform PCB layout design, including multi-layer boards, mixed signal, and power management, utilising Altium Designer.
• Electronic Design: Design and develop electronic circuits, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs, for a variety of applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Schematic Capture & PCB Layout: Extensive experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Electronic Circuit Design: Strong background in electronic circuit design, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems.
• Prototyping: Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing electronic designs.
• Design for Manufacture: Knowledge of design for manufacture (DFM) principles and the ability to optimise designs for production.
