Technical Consultant - Power & Energy Sector

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Consultant to support clients in the electricity sector-including distribution, transmission, retail, and generation-by providing strategic advice on regulatory, economic, and technical challenges. This role focuses on delivering high-quality consulting services and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities, building networks to exchange information and insights.

• Develop and present value-added solutions to clients, employing effective sales and negotiation techniques.

• Propose and support research and development projects, including budgeting and project management strategies.

• Conduct risk assessments to ensure project delivery aligns with contractual agreements.

• Lead the development of new processes and tools, mentoring junior colleagues.

• Manage projects independently, providing guidance to less experienced professionals.

• Address complex problems with innovative solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience in the electric power industry, with knowledge of market systems and equipment.

• Strong background in power system studies and performance analysis.

• Proficiency in simulation tools such as Digsilent PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP, PSS/E, or EMTP.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data effectively.
