BMS Project Manager

About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and driven BMS Project Manager to join our team in Leigh. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about smart building technology, automation, and delivering high-quality building management solutions across a variety of projects.

As a BMS Project Manager, you will lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and to budget. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end BMS projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and client expectations

• Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear direction and accountability

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Monitor compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and standards

• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively

• Oversee vendor selection, cost control, and procurement processes

• Ensure seamless integration of BMS, IoT, and automation technologies

• Produce detailed project documentation, progress reports, and handover materials

• Stay up to date with sustainability practices and evolving industry technologies

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in project management or project engineering within building automation

• Strong knowledge of BMS systems, IoT, smart buildings, and integration

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in project management principles, documentation, and reporting

• Strong financial understanding: budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis

• Creative troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple deadlines

• Enthusiasm for technology and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

• Experience within construction or smart building environments (advantageous but not essential)
