BMS Principle Engineer

We're on the lookout for an experienced Principal BMS Engineer to join our growing team, delivering best-in-class BEMS support across the Central Belt of Scotland.

With a local-first approach, you'll travel to client sites within a manageable distance (1.5 hours from your home wherever possible), providing expert service, identifying improvement opportunities, and building lasting relationships.

This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives on autonomy, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own your customer base and ensure outstanding service delivery

• Conduct proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrades on BEMS systems

• Work collaboratively with account managers to deliver tailored solutions and field quotations

• Identify energy-saving opportunities and enhancement projects

• Create detailed and value-driven service reports

• Support the team through the call-out rota and share technical insights

• Continue developing your expertise through full BCIA training and manufacturer courses

What You'll Bring:

• Proven BEMS engineering experience - ideally with Trend, Tridium, or EcoStruxure

• Comfortable in a field service environment, managing your own workload

• Strong customer-facing skills with a problem-solving mindset

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement

• Full UK driving license required
