BMS Service Engineer

An established and growing building controls specialist is looking to recruit a BMS Service or Commissioning Engineer to support a strong pipeline of work across Glasgow and the Central Belt. The Role

You'll be responsible for servicing, fault finding, and commissioning BMS installations across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites. Depending on your background, the role can be weighted toward service, commissioning, or a blend of both.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS systems

• Attend reactive callouts and diagnose faults efficiently

• Commission BMS control systems and modify existing strategies

• Produce clear site reports, commissioning documentation, and handover information

• Work closely with clients, project teams, and subcontractors

• Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• Exposure to one or more BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, or similar

• Understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies

• Electrically competent with a practical, hands-on approach

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
