Mid-level to Senior BMS Service Engineer

Location: Central London (occasional travel outside London)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

Vantage have partnered with a growing smart buildings and enterprise IT consultancy, helping clients unlock the full potential of intelligent building systems. As they expand their Building Management Systems (BMS) division, they're looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to take a leading role - supporting clients, delivering exceptional service, and mentoring their Junior BMS Engineer.

The Role

You'll play a key part in delivering planned and reactive maintenance, system diagnostics, and optimisation across Tridium Niagara and Trend BMS systems. This is a hands-on, client-facing position with the opportunity to influence and shape a growing division within a forward-thinking business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on Tridium Niagara and Trend BMS systems.

• Diagnosing faults, performing remedial works, and implementing control strategy modifications.

• Applying software updates and ensuring systems operate at peak performance.

• Delivering performance analysis and recommending energy efficiency improvements.

• Mentoring and supporting the development of a Junior BMS Engineer.

• Building strong client relationships and ensuring a high level of service delivery.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 3+ years' experience in BMS or Controls Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara.

• Proven fault-finding and system diagnostic expertise.

• Ability to interpret and modify control strategies and schematics.

• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Desirable:

• Experience with Trend or other BMS systems.
