Senior Recipe/Batch Designer

Our Manchester-based client is looking for a Senior Recipe/Batch Design Engineer

Required Experience & Skills

Essential

• Proven experience designing and configuring batch and recipe systems in an industrial automation environment.
• Strong understanding of batch process design and execution from end to end.
• Hands-on experience with batch/recipe configuration tools (e.g. Siemens SIMATIC Batch, PCS 7 (preferable), TIA Portal, or equivalent platforms).
• Experience producing and reviewing FDS, DDS, and recipe definition documentation.
• Ability to review others' work and provide technical leadership.
• Experience working in regulated or highly structured environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, or chemical industries.
• Familiarity with GMP environments and validation practices.
• Knowledge of ISA-88 batch standards.
• Previous experience acting as a lead or senior engineer on automation projects.
