Location: Liverpool (On-site, 5 days per week)
Target Salary: £60,000-£80,000 (flexible depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Automation Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play a key role in automation projects, working primarily with PCS7 systems and supporting process control initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support process automation solutions in a pharmaceutical environment

• Work with PCS7 control systems, including upgrades and commissioning

• Provide technical support for batch control and process optimisation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet operational requirements

• Attend site daily (5 days per week) and support on-site activities as required

Essential Requirements

• Experience working in the pharmaceutical sector

• Strong knowledge of PCS7 control systems

• Experience with PCS7 upgrades strongly preferred

• Exposure to batch control systems

• Ability to attend the Liverpool site 5 days per week

Desirable

• Previous experience with Siemens automation technologies
