Job Description
Vantage is recruiting for a BMS Commissioning Engineer to deliver BMS commissioning projects for high-end clients across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
This BMS Commissioning Engineer role is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team working on complex, high-spec BMS commissioning projects where your technical expertise and project management skills will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver BMS commissioning projects from sales handover through to completion
- Work closely with sales teams to understand client specifications and BMS commissioning requirements
- Ensure BMS commissioning projects meet financial and commercial targets
- Act as the main point of contact for clients across all BMS commissioning activities
- Maintain documentation related to BMS commissioning in line with company procedures
- Oversee health & safety compliance on all BMS commissioning projects
- Monitor progress of BMS commissioning works, reporting on delays and managing resources
- Procure materials and manage subcontractors supporting BMS commissioning delivery
- Liaise with Operations Managers and internal teams on all BMS commissioning activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer or within BMS commissioning
- Strong background in BMS commissioning within the construction or building services industry
- Experience managing programmes of works related to BMS commissioning
- Valid CSCS/ECS card
- Commercial awareness within BMS commissioning projects (contract knowledge desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team delivering BMS commissioning
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime not regularly required, but flexibility needed when necessary for BMS commissioning works
