The Role
This is a great opportunity for a graduate or junior engineer looking to build a career in control systems, PLC programming and industrial automation, working alongside experienced engineers on projects within the water and wastewater sector.
What we're looking for
- A degree, HNC/HND or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation or a related subject
- Some knowledge or experience of PLC systems
- Familiarity with Siemens and/or Mitsubishi PLCs would be a big advantage
- An interest in industrial automation and control systems
- Previous experience or knowledge of the water/wastewater industry would be beneficial
- A willingness to learn and develop your technical skills
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Develop and modify PLC control systems
- Assist with HMI/SCADA systems
- Support testing and commissioning
- Troubleshoot control systems
- Work on projects for customers across the water industry
