Electrical Engineer

Contract Outline:

EC&I Engineer
Sector: Oil & Gas / ATEX
Location: Norwich or Nottingham (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 months
IR35: Outside
Rate: £45-50ph

Role Overview:

• Understand hazardous areas and BS/IEC standards e.g. ATEX, IECEx (Brazilian compliance).
• Understanding of no-electrical Ex equipment and standards, such as ISO 80079-36/7.
• Understand and design PLC's (Hardware and architecture)
• Design and layout of E&I equipment against package installation and generation of E&I documentation.
• Design of MCC switchgear panels, PLC panels and associated relay logic.
• Rockwell PLC/HMI software and hardware knowledge advantageous.
• Make sure you are meeting client design standards.
• HPU and/or chemical injection system experience preferred.
