Job Title(s)

  • Stores Operator
What will this person be doing?

  • Book in deliveries, confirm receipt against orders, and report any discrepancies in quantity or part numbers.
  • Issue and book materials to kits per the production plan, ensuring timely delivery to point of use.
  • Monitor and resolve unanticipated material issues, including shortages and kit returns.
  • Manage stock control, packing materials, stores layout, and conduct regular stock counts.
  • Inspect, bake (if needed), and issue components, ensuring proper handling and protection.
  • Liaise with buyers and production teams, handle requisitions, and support continuous improvement in materials management.
Essential Skills

  • Basic knowledge of electronic components
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing environment
  • Experience of Microsoft products including Excel & Word
  • Experience of using ERP systems and databases
  • Previous experience in a similar role desirable
  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects

  • £25,396
