PCS7 Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write new PCS7 code for renewable power applications.

• Commission, test, and debug your own code onsite.

• Troubleshoot and enhance existing PCS7 logic to improve system performance.

• Collaborate with site engineers, control systems teams, and project managers.

• Ensure all work meets functional and safety requirements.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience with PCS7 engineering, ideally in an industrial or power setting.

• Strong Siemens control systems background.

• Hands-on experience with onsite commissioning.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of code delivery.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of renewables or power generation is advantageous but not essential.

Additional Information:

• This role is outside IR35.

• No remote or hybrid working - this position requires full-time onsite presence in Scunthorpe.

• Initial contract term is 6 months, with strong likelihood of extension.
