BMS Service/ commissioning engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in Trend or Tridium systems to work on exciting projects, ensuring building management systems are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission BMS hardware, controllers, and field devices

• Load and configure control programs into BMS controllers

• Carry out point-to-point checks to verify correct operation of devices

• Test control sequences, alarms, and integrations

• Troubleshoot wiring, software, and communication issues

• Adjust control settings for improved performance and efficiency

• Complete commissioning and testing documentation accurately

• Provide training to building operators to ensure effective system use

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong knowledge of Trend or Tridium BMS systems

• Experience producing and managing a programme of works

• Valid CSCS/ECS site card

• Knowledge of contracts/sub-contracts (beneficial but not essential)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and a positive team attitude
