Title: Scada Engineer
Industry: Utilities - Water and Gas
Location: Coventry OR Warrington
On-site: Hybrid, 3 days in office (flexibility)
Contract: 6 months+, Outside IR35
Rate: £50ph+
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Ensure cybersecurity compliance,

• Delivering technical project work unsupervised,
• Design/specify hardware & software (on‑prem or cloud)
• Lead the team and manage client expectations
• Set engineering strategy/foundation for the database migration
• Technical tasks included: software configuration/programming, generating project documents (FDS, DDS, database schedules, alarm philosophies, communication strategy), configuration and testing of Geo Scada and potentially AVEVA third‑party software, and managing structured testing and cutover/philosophy documents.

Essential skills

• ClearSCADA/GeoSCADA configuration and programming experience
• Experience in client facing roles
• Experience migrating SCADA platforms
• Utilities experience
• Produce project documents (FDS, DDS, etc.)
