The Role

An opportunity for a hands-on Control Systems Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This role involves working across the full lifecycle of bespoke machinery projects, including:

• PLC & HMI software development
• Electrical design and panel assembly
• Machine wiring and testing
• R&D and system development
• UK and international installation & commissioning work

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys practical engineering, problem-solving, and seeing projects through from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• PLC programming (Rockwell preferred)
• Motion control and HMI development
• Electrical design using EPlan / AutoCAD
• Control panel build and machine wiring
• Testing and commissioning of machinery
• Supporting new machine installations worldwide
• Working to machine safety standards

Skills & Experience

• Experience with PLC programming and automation systems
• HMI and motion control knowledge
• Electrical design and panel building experience
• Hands-on electrical and commissioning capability
• Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments beneficial
• Graduates with relevant skills considered
