Electrical Engineer (Hybrid Working & Relocation Support Available)

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and propose engineering solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Deliver and commission electrical control and automation systems.
• Produce electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on existing control systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including RAMS and risk assessments.
• Complete project and compliance documentation accurately.
• Support site teams with technical expertise when required.
• Deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum five years' experience within an electrical engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Relevant electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience with control systems, automation and instrumentation.
• Fault finding and repair of machine control systems.
• Experience managing or coordinating engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing new technical skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with control panel design or modifications.
• Experience producing electrical CAD drawings and designing control systems.

Additional Information

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Standard hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required.
• Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
• Candidates within reasonable commuting distance are preferred, although relocation support may be available for the right individual.
