Electrical Project Engineer - Water / MEICA

Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Site-based - travel to project sites required
Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility around project requirements

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a collaborative engineering business delivering MEICA projects for leading clients.

This is a site-focused position where you'll work closely with Project Managers, site engineers, clients and other stakeholders to support the successful delivery of electrical engineering works.

The role would particularly suit someone with previous water industry experience, although engineers from other relevant process or infrastructure environments will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical elements across MEICA projects

• Coordinate electrical engineering activities across project sites

• Work closely with Project Managers, site teams and clients throughout project delivery

• Provide technical input and resolve electrical engineering issues

• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements

• Coordinate with mechanical, ICA and wider engineering disciplines

• Support project planning, progress monitoring and delivery

• Maintain strong communication between site teams, clients and internal stakeholders

• Ensure relevant quality, health & safety and engineering standards are maintained

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer

• Experience working on MEICA projects

• Previous water or wastewater industry experience is strongly advantageous

• A valid CSCS or ECS card

• Strong client-facing and communication skills

• Experience working alongside Project Managers and site engineering teams

• Ability and willingness to travel to project sites

• A practical understanding of electrical project delivery in a site environment
