Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical CAD Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background and a passion for electrical design to build a career in the power or electrical engineering sector. You will support the creation of electrical drawings and layouts under the guidance of experienced engineers, with a focus on systems such as switchgear, transformers, and power distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in producing 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for electrical systems, including layouts for switchgear, transformers, and cabling routes.
• Work from engineering sketches and specifications to develop basic schematics, wiring diagrams, and general arrangement drawings.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to support ongoing projects and learn industry best practices.
• Update and maintain CAD drawings and document revisions according to project and quality standards.
• Support the creation and organization of CAD blocks, templates, and libraries.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Basic understanding of electrical systems such as switchgear, transformers, and power distribution principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D; basic knowledge of AutoCAD 3D is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in electrical design and drafting.
