Commercial Electrical Engineer

The Role

We're hiring a hands-on Electrical Engineer to join our growing UK Operations Team. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you'll be on the front lines of technical delivery - conducting site surveys, installing smart energy systems, training partners, and supporting commercial deployments.

What You'll Do

• Conduct site surveys and assess installation needs in commercial environments

• Deliver technical training and performance reviews to partners and installers

• Support the rollout of smart energy flexibility systems with IoT integration

• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to contractors and clients

• Collaborate on the design and refinement of technical installation plans

• Ensure full compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards

• Continuously improve internal documentation, processes, and technical delivery

• Work cross-functionally with business development and operations teams on feasibility and execution

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 3+ years' experience as a qualified electrician or electrical engineer (commercial focus preferred)

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and safety standards

• Skilled in conducting site surveys and producing technical documentation

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the UK (overnight stays required)

• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Experience with HVAC systems, heat pumps, or BMS integrations

• Knowledge of energy metering or monitoring technologies

• Background in both domestic and commercial electrical systems

• Passion for green tech and interest in progressing into a supervisory or advisory role
