BMS Account Manager

We are currently working with an established BMS and building automation specialist who are looking for an experienced BMS Account Manager to join their team, with a particular focus on Schneider Electric BMS and EcoStruxure solutions.

This is a commercially focused position suited to someone with a strong understanding of BMS, controls and building automation who enjoys developing client relationships, identifying new opportunities and growing existing accounts.

The Role

You will take responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of BMS customers, while identifying new opportunities across commercial building services and facilities management.

• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing BMS customers and key accounts

• Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and end users

• Identify new sales opportunities for Schneider Electric BMS and building automation solutions

• Develop account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets

• Identify opportunities for BMS upgrades, energy optimisation, service contracts and system replacements

• Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals

• Manage opportunities through the sales process from initial enquiry through to order

• Work closely with engineering, project and service teams to ensure successful delivery

• Attend client meetings, site visits and relevant industry events

• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts

• Keep up to date with BMS, smart building, energy management and building automation technologies

Experience Required

• Previous experience within BMS, building controls, HVAC controls or building automation

• Commercial, sales or account management experience within the BMS/controls sector

• Good knowledge of Schneider Electric / EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) would be highly advantageous

• Proven ability to manage, develop and grow customer relationships

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• Ability to understand client requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions

• Experience preparing quotations, tenders or commercial proposals

• Strong communication, presentation and client-facing skills

• Proactive and target-driven approach to account growth

• Full UK driving licence
