Electronics Design Engineer

Southampton 45K - 45K Pension Permanent

My client supplies RF and microwave components, systems and instrumentation for a wide range of industries within the UK and internationally. They specialise in Surface-mount components and assemblies. They have an in-house design and manufacturing team that produce waveguide components and custom RF systems.

  • Work with low-frequency electronics

  • Working with Wireless Comms systems using Infrared
  • Visiting military vessels in Glasgow & potentially Australia

Essential Skills
  • Coding for FPGAs
  • Whole product life-cycle experience
  • CAD (Altium)
  • Simulink, MatLab
  • PCBs
  • Low frequency electronics experience
  • SC Clearance (British Citizen)
Desirable Skills
  • Full Valid UK Driving License
Target salary
  • £45,000

Working hoursMonday - Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 08:30-17:00
