Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with extensive busbar installation expertise to lead a large-scale commercial project in Slough. This role requires a strong site presence, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a site team of up to 30 operatives during peak activity in October.

• Oversee all aspects of busbar installation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

• Draft and review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).

• Plan, manage, and update project programmes to align with delivery schedules.

• Attend and lead daily site meetings with stakeholders, subcontractors, and client representatives.

• Utilise site-based software such as Procore, Asite, or ACC to manage documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.

• Monitor site safety, quality, and productivity, taking corrective action where required.

• Liaise closely with the client to ensure smooth delivery and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large commercial electrical projects, with extensive busbar experience.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate large site teams.

• Proficiency with site management software (Procore, Asite, or ACC).

• Strong understanding of RAMS, health & safety compliance, and electrical installation best practices.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the confidence to make decisive on-site decisions.

• Available to work full-time on-site in Slough from mid-late September.

Contract Details:

• Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)

• Duration: 9 months

• Start Date: Mid to late September 2025

• Location: Slough
