Senior Electronics Design Engineer

My client are specialists in the design and manufacture of Steering Controls, Autopilot Systems and associated equipment for use within the Marine industry. The company is internationally represented by leading brand distributors of marine electronic equipment. They offer bespoke solutions to their customers that cannot be offered by other larger suppliers.

Job title(s)
  • Senior Electronics Design Engineer
What will this person be doing?
  • Managing a small 3-person team 2-5 days per week
  • EMC testing
  • PCB Design
  • Working with Control Systems
  • Working with Magnetic Resonance
  • Working with PID Intelligence
  • Troubleshoot aspects of production
  • Design products to customer specifications
Essential Skills
  • Knowledge of Analogue and Digital techniques with regards to PCBs
  • Proficient with Schematic Capture & Layout
  • Experience working closely with PCBs
  • Experience in taking a product from conception to completion
  • Experience with Marine industry regulations
  • Experience with Electronic design work
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in PCB Design, Electrical or Electronic Systems
  • Previous service within the Marine industry
  • 7+ years experience in Electronics
  • Happy to travel occasionally, sometimes internationally
Target salary
  • £45,000 - £55,000
LocationHavant, Hampshire
Working hoursMonday - Friday
Core Hours: 08:30 -17:00 (30 minutes for lunch)

Flexible on start and finish time from 08:00-18:00.
